What are Precious Metals?
Precious metals are those metals that are directly in pure state (ores), that is, they are not combined with other metals, and also have a high economic value because they are rare (little abundant).
For example gold that is in the form of nuggets directly and is little abundant in nature. Eye not to be confused with the Precious Stones.
In jewelry, precious metals are considered platinum, gold and silver, in that order because of the economic value they have. They are used in jewelry not only for its rarity, but also for its attractiveness. But in addition to these are also considered precious metals Palladium and Rhodium.
Rhodium is a very rare metal to find, right now, it is the most expensive metal, even listed above gold.
